As a member of Ka-Na-Chi-Hih, the Outreach and Engagement Worker will be the first contact for individuals seeking support for criminal and violence behaviour prevention/intervention. The role is crucial in facilitating the intake process, conducting assessments and ensuring the clients are connected to appropriate treatment services. Additionally, the position will engage in outreach efforts in Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout, Timmins and Nishnawbe Aski Nation communities to obtain referrals for youth involved in various levels of the criminal justice system
